尤其是时间顺序:afterwards, at first, at last, finally, first, firstly, in the first place, t start with,in the meantime, last, later, next, secnd, secndly, then, third, thirdly, t begin with以及一些具体的时间。
要注意表示总结的信号词,如therefre, as a result, hence, thus, t sum up, t cnclude, in shrt, in a wrd等词语,选项中也可发现前文的同义词句。

      ●看2空上的内容→At first I was paid in candy.→ A. Later I received 50 cents an hur. →注意比较:时间顺序at first---later时间顺序;paid in candy---received 50cents报酬→按时间顺序记叙,话题一致。
      ●故选A
      2. A。前句 At first I was paid in candy. 故选A。

1.前文提到“She thught she was starting a business that wuld cnsist mstly f making messy hmes int “beautiful hmes” and taking befre and after phts.(2014 年,凯琳·凯利(Kayleen Kelly)将她的专业整理业务转为全职经营。 而后文又指出“Hwever, many peple wh seek ut Kelly’s service are struggling with mental health issues, injuries, illness, r are experiencing the death f a lved ne.(然而,许多寻求凯利服务的人都正遭受着心理健康问题、伤痛、疾病的困扰,或是正经历着亲人离世的悲痛。)” 前后形成转折关系,所以这里用D选项“But she sn realized her jb was mre abut the peple.(但她很快意识到,她的工作更多的是与别人打交道。)”
2.此空前面“Hwever, many peple wh seek ut Kelly’s service are struggling with mental health issues, injuries, illness, r are experiencing the death f a lved ne.(然而,许多寻求凯利服务的人都正遭受着心理健康问题、伤痛、疾病的困扰,或是正经历着亲人离世的悲痛。)”描述了寻求服务的人有各种困难状况,后面“They might nt have the mental energy fr the prjects.(他们可能没有精力去开展整理项目。)” 那么中间应该是说他们有整理的意愿,只是不知道从哪里开始,F选项“They are willing t tidy up but might nt knw where t start.(他们愿意整理,但可能不知道从哪里开始。)”
3.前文“Her cntent breaks dwn her tips and tricks fr viewers lking t tidy up their lives.(她的内容为那些想要整理生活的人详细讲解了各种小窍门。)” 所以这里用C选项“These include what she names “Declutter Cre” methd.(其中包括她所称的“核心整理”方法。)”
4.前文“Kelly des all the physical labr f cllecting garbage, srting ther items accrdingly, cutting ut unwanted items and finally, cntaining what is left (the fur steps f the Declutter Cre Methd) fr her clients herself.(Kelly会亲自为客户完成所有的体力劳动,包括收集垃圾、对其他物品进行分类、剔除不需要的物品,最后整理好剩下的东西(这就是“整理核心法”的四个步骤)。)” 那么空格处应该是说明她这样做的原因,G选项“S they can save mental energy fr the tughest part f the jb.(这样他们就可以为工作中最困难的部分节省精力。)”
后文说“Yu can’t beat that. That’s what keeps me cming back.(没有什么能比得上这种感觉。 那么中间应该是描述让她坚持的原因的具体内容,B选项“I see the lk n their face at the end f the sessin.(在服务结束时,我看到他们脸上的表情。)”

下文“My husband and I agreed they were the best fruit we had ever eaten. E“That's nt the nly reasn the French eat less than we d.(这并不是法国人吃得比我们少的唯一原因)”承接了上一段关于法国人吃的少但是不胖的话题,同时引起下文,给出了法国人吃的少的另一个原因‘物价贵’。故选E项。
40.根据上文“In France, quality f life is much mre imprtant than efficiency (效率). Yu can tell this by cafés life. French cafés are always crwded. 下文“When d these peple wrk?(这些人什么时候工作?)” 故选A项。
Yu've gt mail…and it's a pstcard
Paul Magalhaes, a 34-year-ld Prtuguese cmputer engineer, lves t pen his mailbx and find a brightly clred picture f Rme's Clsseum. Or Africa's Victria Falls. Or China's Great Wall. ___11___

G 12. A 13. E 14. F 15. B
上文“Paul Magalhaes, a 34-year-ld Prtuguese cmputer engineer, lves t pen his mailbx and find a brightly clred image f Rme's Clsseum. Or Africa's Victria Falls. 下文“... and yu realize that nt everyne is int it.” G“In shrt, he lves pstcards, and the excitement f getting a scribbled nte frm smene far away.(简而言之,他喜欢明信片,也喜欢收到远方某人潦草的便条时的那种兴奋)”起到承上启下的作用,总结了上文Paul喜欢明信片,也引出下文关于他的喜好得不到回应的问题。故选G项。
上文““I ften send pstcards t family and friends." he says t China Daily, “but yu can imagine that after a while, yu never receive as many as yu send, and yu realize that nt everyne is int it(“我经常给家人和朋友寄明信片, ”他说,“但你可以想象,过一段时间,你收到的明信片不会像你寄的那么多,而且你意识到并不是每个人都喜欢这样。”)” 故选A项。
上文“Tday his hbby has evlved int the website Pstcrssing.cm, a scial netwrk that has grwn t 575,217 registered users in 214 cuntries and regins since he launched it 10 years ag.(如今,他的这个爱好已经发展成了Pstcrssing.cm这个社交网站。
上文“As cl as it may be t receive a pstcard written in Chinese, the cncept desn't wrk if ne desn't understand it.(收到一张用中文写明信片可能很酷,但如果你不理解它,这个概念就行不通)”是举例说明他国人收到中文明信片时的问题。选项F“Similarly, if yu speak nly Chinese, receiving a card written in Swedish takes part f the fun away.(同样地,如果你只会说中文,收到瑞典语的卡片也会夺走一部分乐趣)”是举例说明中国人收到他国语言明信片时也会遇到相同的问题。
上文“Many peple in China have limited expsure t English.(许多中国人很少能接触到英语)”说明对某些人来说学习英语的门槛较高。

Yung children learning t play team sprts are ften tld,“There is n I in TEAM.”___49___
