一、命题规律
近三年高考完形填空对考生在语篇中准确理解和灵活运用词汇的能力的考查尤为突出,主要涉及名词、(短语)动词、形容词和副词的词义理解、一词多义的积累、以及熟词生义的判断。仔细研读近几年高考完形填空我们不难发现,记叙文是出现频率最高的一类文体,多以记人和叙事为主。具体地说,它是借助叙述、描写等手段记叙社会中的人物和事件发展过程,用以表现作者的态度和观点。记叙文多以人的思想和行为为中心,以时间或空间的变化为线索,按事件的发生、发展和结束来展开叙述。
二、语篇特点
1.首句完整,线索清楚。一般作者在第一句话就交代了人物的姓名、身份、业绩或事件发生的时间、地点,然后再介绍事件的发生、发展,最后得出结果。
2.叙述灵活,侧重语境。文章以叙述为主,人物间对话较少,绝大部分篇章是作者在描述事件,较少加入作者的观点或评论。因此,常出现态度与观点的跳跃变换,或语气上差异。这增加了情景的迷惑性,从而突出了对语境的依赖,实现了在理解上下文的基础上,通过语境,辨析词语,作出选择。
3.实词为主,虚词为辅。高考记叙型完形填空,篇章不长,一般在200~260个词左右,始终紧扣话题中心,形成一个主题连续体。选项一般为同一词类或同一范畴。重点集中于动词、名词、形容词或副词等实词上,介词、连词、冠词等虚词的考查相对较少。实词为主,虚词为辅,更能体现在语境中考查英语运用能力这一思路。
三、命题趋势
1.题材聚焦成长与人文关怀。以个人经历、社会善举、克服困难等为主,涵盖亲情、友情、社会责任等主题,如“陌生人互助”“自我突破”“文化传承”,贴近学生生活与价值观塑造,强调情感共鸣。
2.叙事结构注重情节起伏。多采用 “问题出现 — 发展转折 — 解决成长” 的线性叙事,通过细节描写(如环境、动作、心理)推动情节,考查对上下文逻辑和情感线索的把握。
3.考查重点偏向语境词义。动词、名词、形容词占比高(约 70%),侧重在语境中辨析词义(如近义词、固定搭配),同时通过连词、代词等考查句间逻辑(因果、转折、递进)。
4.语言风格生动真实。多使用生活化表达,包含对话和心理描写,偶尔出现文化相关词汇(如传统习俗、地域特色),考查考生对语境和文化背景的理解。
5.融入时代精神与价值观引导。强调勇气、善良、坚持等品质,如 “面对恐惧不退缩”“帮助他人收获成长”,呼应立德树人导向,引导考生思考人生与社会。

完形填空一般不在首句设空,这是为了给考生提供清晰而完整的文章背景信息。若首句交代了when, where, wh, what,即四个“W”,一般来说文章为记叙文;若首句提出或解释说明某事物,一般来说文章为说明文;若首句提出一个论点,一般来说文章为议论文。仔细分析首句,往往能获取许多解题信息。除了文章首句以外,考生还可以利用段落首句来把握文章大意。主题句一般出现在段落的开头。
