形容词是词类的一种，主要用来描写或修饰名词或代词，表示人或事物的性质、状态、特征或属性，常用作定语，也可作表语或补语。

一、形容词大体可以分为下面几类:
happy, healthy, quiet, angry, clean…
lcal, real, right, daily…
black, blue, brwn, green…
perfect, true, cmplete…
amazing, exciting, interesting, bring…
excited, interested, bred…
二、形容词的基本形式：
英文中表达比较时会用到形容词的比较级（表示“比较……”)和最高级(表示“最……”)，与之相对的形容词本身称为原级。例如:
形容词可以用作定语，修饰名词。  
She has lng hair. 她有长头发。This is an interesting bk. 这是一本有趣的书。There are sme beautiful flwers in the garden. 花园里有一些漂亮的花。
The water is cld. 水很冷。The cake is delicius. 这个蛋糕很好吃。The by is nervus. 这个男孩很紧张。
形容词也可以用作表语，跟在系动词（如be, seem, feel等）后面，说明主语的状态或特征。
