Prcedures:
Activity 1: sng “ I have a new pencil”
The teacher shws the children a bag and asks them t guess what’s in it?
The teacher takes ut a pencil when the children guess pencil
The children shw their pencils and sing the sng “ I have a new pencil”
Activity 2:
The children take ut all the tys they brught frm hme and put them n the desk.
The teacher says the wrds “puzzle, plane, dll, train, scter” randmly. The children raise and shw their tys.
The teacher shws the children a ty car and says “Here’s my car.” The children fllw the example and shw their tys t each ther by saying “Here’s my…”
Activity 3: let’s chant
The children listen t the chant and raise the crrespnding tys r pictures at the same time
Listen t the tape again
Chant after the recrder
Chant the rhyme tgether, then grup by grup, finally ne by ne.
Activity 4: Recgnize the new wrds
The teacher puts the chant and sme pictures f the new wrds n the blackbard.
Ask the children t read the chant then find ut and pint at the wrds: puzzle, plane, dll, train, and scter ne by ne.
Stick the prper pictures besides the wrds
Activity 5: End the class
Give a cmment n hw the children have dne in this lessn
Remind the children t chant the rhyme t their parents and friends
Encurage the children t create a new chant by using the wrds abut statinery.
