Befre I can cntinue, she suddenly lks up at me like an evil fairy, her eyes flashing with an idea. “Maybe we can.” I exchange a glance with her. Yes, we tw Avas culd balance! The next day, We are in the backstage. Everyne in schl is in the audience.
“Ready t exchange?” asks Little Ava. I nd eagerly, and we scramble t swap cstumes. She drwns in the giant’s rbe, but when I smear black makeup arund her eyes, she grins wickedly. “Perfect,” she whispers. “Nw I’m the mnster.” Little Ava stmps nt the stage, her tiny frame hidden under the rbe, and delivers “ARRGH” s fierce that the frnt-rw kids gasp. Meanwhile, I flat in my fairy cstume, taller than everyne but finally unafraid. After the play, Ms. Wu hlds ur hands while everyne cheers. “Big and Little Ava pwer!” I whisper t her. I’ve never felt bigger, and that’s definitely gd.
