Friday, 30 MayTday we went n a schl trip t a farm! It was tiring but great fun! In the mrning, we explred the farm. There were large tents with tmates, cucumbers, and many ther fruits and vegetables. The farmer tld us abut hw these fruits and vegetables g frm the fields t ur tables. I was very interested because I usually nly see them in the supermarket.

One thing I learnt tday: Farming isn't easy! It made me think f the saying." Every grain cmes frm hard wrk. "The famer let us take sme vegetables hme. My mum cked sme fr dinner, and they were fresh and delicius! They certainly taste better when yu wrk fr them! Tday was really a day t remember.
Farming isn’t easy.
It means “粒粒皆辛苦” in Chinese. It tells us that even the smallest thing needs hard wrk t make it pssible. It als means we need t respect farmers and their wrk.

Yes, I d. Fr example, last mnth I helped my grandmther plant carrts in her garden. When we finally harvested them after weeks f watering and weeding, the carrts tasted sweeter and crunchier than the nes frm the stre. I felt prud because I had grwn them myself! This shws that when yu wrk hard fr smething, yu appreciate it mre – just like Sam with his farm vegetables.

fill〔及物动词〕装满;盛满

(1) teach〔及物动词〕教。过去式为 taught。

(2) 疑问词+动词不定式(短语)。
以-f/-fe结尾的可数名词,其复数形式是变-f/-fe为-ves。这样的单词还有:shelf-shelves(架子)knife-knives(刀)wife-wives(妻子)half-halves(半)life-lives(生命)self-selves(自己)wlf-wlves(狼)thief-thieves(小偷)
(3) leaf 〔可数名词〕叶;叶子。其复数形式为 leaves。
巧记:狼(wlf)为活命(life)去捉羊,小偷(thief)携刀(knife)叶(leaf)丛藏架(shelf)后半(half)天不见羊,自己(self)妻子(wife)饿得慌。
