His philsphical teachings, called Cnfucianism, emphasized persnal and gvernmental mrality, crrectness f scial relatinships, justice, kindness, and sincerity, as well as an emphasis n a ruler’s duty t their subjects.

    With China’s rapid ecnmic grwth and wide exchanges with the rest f the wrld, there has been a sharp increase in the wrld demand fr Chinese language learning. T meet the increasing demands fr Chinese learning, the Chinese gvernment decided t set up Cnfucius Institutes in freign cuntries. The first Cnfucius Institute was set up in Suth Krea in 2004. Cnfucius Institutes adpt flexible teaching patterns t suit lcal cnditins while teaching Chinese language and prmting cultural exchange in freign schls, universities, cmmunities, and enterprises.
