    I live in the city.我住在城市里。live 为不及物动词,意思为“住”,当后面加具体的地点时,常加介词in。e.g.—Where d yu live?—I live in Shanghai.
    There are a lt f huses with gardens in the cuntryside.乡村里有许多带花园的房子。这是介绍某地有某物的there be句型。句型结构: There + be动词+名词+其他.
    【辨析】 there be、have/has和withthere be 意为“有”;位于句首,表示某地有某物/人have/ has意为“有”;位于句中,表示所属的关系with意为“具有”;位于句中,表示附属的关系e.g. There is a pet pig in the rm.I have a pet pig. The pet pig with big ears is mine.
    There aren't many cars.这里没有很多小汽车。这是there be句型的否定句式,用来表达某处不存在某人或某物。句型结构:There+be动词+nt+名词+其他.(be nt常常缩写)e.g. There is nt a dancer in the play.There are nt flwers inside.
    【拓展】 there be句型的一 般疑问句及肯定、否定回答句型结构: Be动词+ there +名词+其他?肯定回答: Yes, there + be 动词.否定回答: N, there + be 动词+ —Is there a cat behind the dr?—Yes, there is.
