    What: The grammar table f 3a presents general and special interrgative sentences related t the tpic f making friends, fcusing n the crrespndence between be and the persnal prnuns, and the difference between the pssessive prnuns and the persnal prnuns. Cmmn abbreviated expressins such as wh's, I'm, he's, and it's are als presented. Subsequent activities frm 3b t 3d cnslidate the abve grammatical cntent.
    Why: T guide students t bserve grammatical phenmena and summarize the changes f be accrding t the persn in the sentence, and t understand the frms f general and special interrgative sentences with be. T cultivate the habit f summarizing knwledge and the ability t learn independently.
    Hw: Cnslidate the sentence patterns f asking ther peple's names, where they are frm and what classes they are in by cmbing and practising the grammatical knwledge. Thrugh students' bservatin, they will discver and summarize the rules f abbreviatins independently.

    2.Read tw cnversatins, and pay attentin t the general and wh- questins they use.
    Observe whether stu-dents can participate in interactin and cmmu-nicatin, take the
    initiative in sharing
    their existing knwledge and experience n the tpic, and adjust the way f sharing
    accrding t the needs.
    3.Explain the usage f “it”.
