A clwn dctr is a specially trained clwn wh wrks as part f a prgramme knwn as “hspital clwning”; the clwn dctr helps peple (patients) by entertaining them. The authr chse t be a clwn dctr because f his frightening and bring experience f ging t hspital when he was a kid.
He is still wearing a big smile as he remembers all the fun and laughter f the day, because he believes that “laughter is the best medicine”.
A clwn dctr visits hspitals and ther health care facilities, wrking tgether with medical prfessinals t cheer up patients, their families and the hspital staff.
He gets the patient’s attentin by ding a magic trick — he prduces the patient’s sck frm ut f his pcket.
This clwn dctr wears a white cat, a curly rainbw wig, and a big red nse. His wrking envirnment is bring and tense.
