能够理解灾难中人们的情绪情感变化，以及灾后重建和恢复正常生活的强烈愿望，增强个人的心理应变能力。

区分中英文天气预报的差别，能够运用正确的表达来谈论天气情况。

What is ellipsis? And why?
Step 3 Reading, bserving, listening and thinking:
Cmplete the fllwing three exercises in the textbk after reading and bserving.
1. Lk at the sentences frm the reading passage and answer the questins:

2. Find ut what wrds have been remved befre r after the underlined wrds.
3. Remve wrds frm the news reprt t make it mre cncise.

本节课后反思(Teacher’s reflectins n this perid)：
本节课是根据外研版高中英语新教材必修第三册第六单元的第三课时：Using language: Ellipsis的学习内容以及高一学生的特点，设计本节课的语法教学，以学生英语语言表达能力的培养为目标，以学生的自主观察、独立思考和省略这一语言现象理解为主线，教学重难点清晰，课堂语法分析得到了充分挖掘，学生在任务型课堂的要求下，主动参与，自主完成学习任务。
同时，本节课鲜明的突出学生的主体地位，学生的参与意识，积极探索，勤于思考，真正体现任务型教学模式在英语语法课堂教学中的优势，而且通过大量的课堂语法练习和句子翻译，使学生对省略这一英语语言现象的理解、处理和生成不断得到强化，更是落实了培养学生独立观察和思维的能力！
但令人遗憾的是，英语语言的省略这一语言现象比较分散、复杂，牵涉到各方各面的英语语法基础，不利于学生的理解和掌握，而且一节课时的时间有点仓促，不利于英语语法基础较弱的学生的理解和生成，但重难点明确突出，比较好的落实了本节课的教学任务。
