Tall, lng-necked giraffes are famus fr their spts which are believed t help the animals hide frm their enemies. Experts said the yung giraffe was the nly single-clred reticulated giraffe living anywhere n the planet. The last time this happened was 1972 in Japan. A giraffe's pattern f spts is created when the animal is still grwing inside its mther. That means that this giraffe will never have spts.
“The new giraffe might nt have survived if she had been brn in the wild. Being single-clred, she may nt be able t hide quite as well,” said Mr. David Bright, wh runs the z. “She will easily be a key target fr pachers(偷猎者) because she's s unusual.”

They believe that wild animals living in their natural envirnment are happier. 39 They als pint ut that a few species are mre likely t prduce yung animals in the wild than in natinal parks.
All in all, these disadvantages are far less imprtant than the benefits f natinal parks. 40 As a matter f fact, they prtect animals frm their greatest enemy, that is, human beings.

根据第二段中的“ higher temperature has sped up the mvement f sea bears are remaining n land t lk fr fd.”
根据第三段中的“As mre attentin was given t the plight f plar bears abut a decade ag, mre turists started heading t Kaktvik.”
根据最后一段中的“Mst turists visit in the fall”以及“Many turists stay several days in the village, which has tw small htels.” 故选A。

根据第一段第一句“Tall, lng-necked giraffes are famus fr their spts which are believed t help the animals hide frm their enemies.” 故选A。
根据第二段第二句“Unlike mst giraffes, she was brn withut spts, a unique feature f the reticulated giraffe.”
故选A。
