6 JulyThe rt cntinues t grw dwnwards. The single stem grws hllw and smth, revealing large spade-shaped leaves frm the grwing tip. Gradually, the plant’s grwing tip reveals the first hints f develpment f the flwer bud. The plant stem becmes mre wdy.
26 JulyAbut three weeks after the flwer bud first becmes visible at the tip f the sunflwer stem, it enlarges and begins t reveal a flattened disc. Over the curse f ne week, the yellw ray flrets, the disc flrets blm acrss the cre f the sunflwer blssm. It is yellw, lking beautiful.
