本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第五单元“New Technlgies in Everyday Life”读写板块(Reading and Writing)。阅读板块以工作和生活中的新技术为主题,包含四个介绍新技术产品的语篇和一个介绍我国高铁的说明类语篇,分别从个人角度和国家角度呈现新科技的发展,旨在引导学生从不同角度感受新科技对个人和社会的巨大影响,激发出国家认同感和自豪感,培养学生的爱国情怀。写作板块(Writing)包含三个活动,分别在商业宣传和策划等方面呈现了学习内容,活动中呈现邀请函和活动计划两种应用类语篇的结构,目的是帮助学生熟悉活动计划中包含的要素和写作特点,完成活动计划的撰写,为毕业后活动策划以及实现策划所需做的准备。
学情分析
技术与生活是学生日常生活紧密相关的话题。学生已经掌握部分新技术的名称和基本使用方法,如:scan the QR cde、ride a shared bike、install a bike sharing APP等以及询问功能和使用方法的句型如:“Can yu shw me hw t d that? What functin des it have?”但是对学生新技术的功能缺乏语言支持,无法深入探讨新技术的特点和优势,英语综合应用能力较弱。本课由易及难,帮助学生深入了解新技术的发展,提供有关新技术特点和优势的短语和句型,建构主动的学习意识和主动表达意识,树立对我国高科技产品发展的信心和自豪感。
