本课教学内容选自《英语 拓展模块》第五单元“New Technlgies in Everyday Life”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以生活中的新技术为主题,共有四个短对话和两个长对话听力活动以及两个口头交际活动。要求在讨论技术与生活的语境中,学生能够听懂介绍新技术的对话;熟悉新技术的名称、相关场景以及技术应用的细节信息;能够向同伴介绍在日常生活中科技产品的使用方式;感受科技给生活带来的帮助和改变。
学情分析
技术与生活是学生日常生活紧密相关的话题。学生已经了解了少数有关高科技产品的词汇,如smartphne、cmputer等,但是对新的技术产品相关的内容还不熟悉,缺乏介绍功能的语言和词汇支持,无法对新技术进行介绍。同时受英语知识储备量所限,难以表达主观意愿,英语综合应用能力较弱。通过一系列活动,由易及难,鼓励学生参与各项学习活动,勇于表达,帮助学生了解新技术的基本信息和基本操作方法,向他人介绍新技术。

Suggest answer: smart phne,drne, high-speed railway, payment nline, 3D printer, smart rbt, AI, big data, new energy, VR, driver-less car, Internet f things, sweep rbt, smart watch, etc.
Think and discuss
Ask students the fllwing questins.

Students watch the vide abut the envirnment.
Read the questins and discuss in grups.
通过视频呈现环境,让学生对环境有更好的理解和认识,同时明确我们每个人也是环境的一部分,并为后面学习做铺垫。
Step 2: Listening
Activity 1: Listen and match
Ask students t scan activities t underline the key wrds, and predict the cntent f the dialgue. Then play the listening materials.
Activity 2: Listen and chse
Ask students t scan the questins and ptins and draw the key wrds such as what (what, hw), adj. (bring, pwerful, cmplicated,easy)nuns (student, wrker, manager) and sme wrds abut career scene such as general manager, writing reprts and mems, install a cellphne, bk a meeting rm etc. Students actively predict the dialgue cntent, develp their ability t predict the listening cntent based n key infrmatin knwn.
Activity 3: Listen and cmplete
Ask students t scan the infrmatin in the service recrd f dream jurney and fill in the blanks. Guide the students t draw the key infrmatin in the table. Then play the recrding.
Finish the listening activities “Listen and match, Listen and chse and Listen and cmplete” in the textbk.
本部分以日常工作生活中的新科技为主要话题,通过信息匹配、选择、填空等题型的听力对话内容,为学生创设话题情境。在熟悉话题的基础上,提升学生根据已知信息获取关键信息的能力,引导学生感知新技术为生活带来的变化,探索其积极意义,激发学生的对新事物的探索精神。

通过补全对话让学生对文本有进一步的了解。学习文本的重点词句,夯实长难句,为后面的口语输出做铺垫。

Activity 5: Act and practice
Teachers create dialgue situatins thrugh pictures r vides, and briefly intrduce the dialgue backgrund. One is the cmmunity intelligent express cabinet, and the ther is the restaurant self-service system.
Students chse the situatin and d grup ral practice and demnstratin.
Students in small grups further read cntextual infrmatin, familiarize themselves with the language situatin, and prepare fr dialgue and cmmunicatin.
