In August 2019, tw citizen scientists, Sunniva Srby and Hilde FalunStrm landed n Spitsbergen, in Nrway’s Svalbard island grup. They planned t wrk thrugh the winter, then g hme in May 2020. In August 2019, tw citizen scientists, Sunniva Srby and Hilde FalunStrm landed n Spitsbergen, in Nrway’s Svalbard island grup. They planned t wrk thrugh the winter, then g hme in May 2020. But their ship culd nt cme because f COVID-19 shutdwns. Fr furteen mnths, they lived in a small cabin n an icy island near the Nrth Ples.
