    place vt. (小心地、稳妥地、从容地、有意地)放置 → 使处于(某境地)e. g. He flded the letter and placed it in the inside pcket f his jacket. A bmb had been placed under the seat. The crisis culd well place the relatinship at risk. (很可能使关系岌岌可危。)
