教学内容：Section A(Grammar Focus-4C)

教学目标：1.会拼写认读单词：Ocean.

          2.重点短语：The Pacific Ocean

          3.能学会用long, wide, deep...描述地理事物。

教学重难点：1.形容词,副词比较级及最高级用法。

            2.能用long, wide, deep, tall.等描述地理事物。

教学步骤：Step 1 Free Talk

    Last class, we have learned how to compare things with the Comparative [kəm'pærətiv] 比较级 and Superlative [suːˈpəːlətiv] 最高级 Forms of Adjective and Adverbs. Do you understand it? Today, we will do some practice to remember it well.

            Step 2 Lead in

First, I will show you a song The more we get together.Hoping that you will like it.Then, I will show you some pictures.分别训练(nice-nicer-nicest, young-younger-youngest, heavy-heavier-heaviest,lovely-more lovely-most lovely, famous-more famous-most famous)

      Step 3 Grammar Focus

1. Ask some students to read the sentences in Grammar Focus loudly.
2. Summarize it and explain it to Ss one by one.

          Step 4 4a-4c

1.Read the sentences carefully in 4a and fill in the blanks with the correct forms and then discuss your answer with your partner.

2.Read the sentences in 4a again and summarize the usage of Comparative and Superlative.

3.Read the sentences in 4b and write two comparisons about two topics and read your answer your partner.

4.Write five questions using comparisons. Then, ask your partner about his questions.

     Step 5 Exercise

1. Kate is young, but Joe is _______.

          Homework

1.Finish the exercise book Section A.
