一、教学目标
(1)语言目标
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, egg yolk, nearby, type, taste, centre.
2. 句型:能用"Which type do you like?"询问他人对月饼的喜好及用"I like the mooncakes with..."对该询问做出回答;能用"I’d like a box of... "对不同口味的月饼做出选择。
(2)应用目标
1.能指认不同口味的月饼:nuts /lotus seed /red bean / egg yolk /fruits mooncake。
2.能谈论中秋节传统食物月饼,并针对不同口味做出选择。
3.能听懂、会说A部分的对话。
二、教学重、难点
1.重点: 能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, egg yolk, nearby, type, taste, centre;能用"Which type do you like?"询问他人对月饼的喜好及用"I like the mooncakes with..."对该询问做出回答。
2.难点: 运用旧知识,如对"How much... ?" "Which one do you like?"等句型做出相应的回答。
三、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Greetings
Greet with students : Good morning! How are you?
2. Lead-in
T: What day is it today?
S: It is Thursday.
T: I have good news for you. At this weekend we will have a three-day holiday, do you know why? Because the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming.
Step 2 Presentation
1. A guessing game:让学生根据课件中提供的单词或图片猜所学的节日名称,引出新课内容以及新单词the Mid- Autumn Festival
2. 由游戏导入新课题,引出嫦娥奔月的故事
3. 通过观看嫦娥奔月的故事,引出新单词mooncake 以及与月饼有关的单词nuts /lotus seed /red bean / egg yolk /fruits
4.结合PPT以及实物教授新单词,新句型the mooncake with...
Step 3 Practice
1.课件结合实物展示月饼的不同种类,引导学生运用"which type do you like ? "询问他人对不同月饼的喜好情况,以及运用"I like the ones with..."回答别人的询问
2.玩游戏:开火车,操练新句型"which type do you like ? ""I like the mooncakes with..."
3. listen and find : 观看A部分课文视频,回答问题:
Where do they go shopping?
How many boxes of mooncakes does Mrs. Li buy?
How much is a box of mooncakes?
4. Read and find: 朗读A部分课文,回答问题:
Which type of mooncake does Binbin like?
What types does Mrs. Li buy?
Does Binbin enjoy eating mooncakes?
Step 4 Let’s act
- Role-play the conversation
- Let's go shopping:
设计购物场景,让学生两人小组,分别扮演售货员和顾客,购买自己喜欢的月饼,要求用所学英语句型交流。
A: Can I help you?
B: I’d like a box of mooncakes.
A: OK. Which type do you like?
B: I’d like a box of ____ mooncakes, please.
A: We have many here.
B: How much is it?
A: It’s ___ yuan.
B: OK! Here you are.
A: Thank you!
