【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:进一步巩固、运用新单词和短语Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, taste 等;能在运用新单词的过程中复习一般过去时;能在情境中理解celebrate的含义.
2.句型:能运用“I enjoy ...”表达自己对事物的喜好.
3.语篇:能理解嫦娥奔月的故事;能理解E部分短文并回答问题.
(二)应用目标
1.能在不同情境中运用新单词和短语Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, taste 等.
2.能在表达自己的喜好时运用“I enjoy ...”.
3.能尝试运用所学单词与句型写出一篇欢度中秋节的英语小短文,字数50左右.
【教学重难点】
重点:能在不同情境中运用新单词Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, taste 等,并注意时态;能运用“I enjoy ...”表达自己的喜好.
难点:能理解嫦娥奔月的故事,并回答问题.
【教学准备】
单词卡片、课文录音、课件等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings
T: What did you do last night?
S1: I watched TV/did homework/...
(在学生回答时,教师可提示学生注意动词的过去式.)
2.Revision:运用单词卡片或课件进行游戏,复习本单元新单同.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
Part E:Let's write
(1)Brainstorming
a.教师用不同的词句描述中秋节,把关键词mooncake等放在最后的句子中,让学生根据描述猜测这是什么节日,学生说出的节日名称越多越好.
T: It's a festival for families. It's an important traditional festival...
b.教师说首字母,学生根据首字母说出单词.
T: M.
Ss: Mooncake.
T: C.
Ss: …(学生可给出不同答案,只要符合“中秋节”这一主题皆可.)

T: Let's read a beautiful story about her!
(2)Read and answer
Long, long ago, a beautiful girl Chang'e and her husband Hou yi lived a happy life. But Chang'e wanted to fly to the moon. So she took a magic medicine and flew to the moon with her rabbit. After some time, she missed Hou yi and felt lonely. He missed her, too. When there was a full moon, they wanted to see each other. The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the fifteenth of the eighth lunar month. People get together and eat mooncakes on this day.

III. 趣味操练(Practice)
1.英语诗歌欣赏:The Moon
The moon is light.
The moon is gold.
The moon is like a boat.
I want to sit in it.
The moon is like a banana.
I want to eat it.
The moon is like Mum's smile.
I want to kiss her.
2.汉语诗歌欣赏:
水调歌头(苏轼)
明月几时有,把酒问青天.
不知天上宫阙,今夕是何年.
我欲乘风归去,又恐琼楼玉宇,高处不胜寒.
起舞弄清影,何似在人间.
转朱阁,低绮户,照无眠.
不应有恨,何事长向别时圆?
人有悲欢离合,月有阴晴圆缺,此事古难全.
但愿人长久,千里共婵娟.
3.分别朗诵这两首诗歌,感受汉语与英语的韵律美.教师可选择舒缓的音乐,让学生在音乐中感受语言的魅力.

(2)英语诗歌像汉语诗歌一样,也充满了韵律美.大声读,感受这首“The Moon”的魅力吧!
【作业布置】
1.说一说,谈一谈:给家人讲述课堂上学到的中秋节的故事,也可向家人了解更多中秋节的传统风俗与故事.
2.想一想,写一写:仿照E部分写一篇50字左右的英语小短文,记录自己曾经度过的最棒的中秋节.
