【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标:
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, nearby, type, taste, centre.
2.句型:能用“Which type do you like?”询问他人对月饼的喜好及用“I like the ones with ...”对该询问做出回答;能用“I'd like a box of …”对不同口味的月饼做出选择.
(二)应用目标:
1.能指认不同口味的月饼:lotus seed/red bean mooncakes.
2.能谈论中秋节传统食物月饼,并针对不同口味做出选择.
3.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
【教学重难点】
重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词Mid-Autumn, mooncake, nuts, lotus seed, red bean, nearby, type, taste;能用“Which type do you like?”询问他人对月饼的喜好及用“I like the ones with...”对该询问做出回答.
难点:运用旧知识,如对“How much…?”、“Which one do you like?”等句型做出相应的回答.
【教学准备】
用于新授单词的卡片、图片、课本图片、课文录音、课件等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/ 复习(Warm-up/Revision)
1.Greetings
T: Boys and girls, what date is it today?
Ss: It's ...(根据实际日期回答.教师可合理安排教学进度,把本课调整至中秋节前上.)
2.Lead-in
教师用课件出示句子或板书:_____ is coining.(教师提示学生根据实际授课周的日历回答.)
Ss: Sunday/ Weekend/ ... is coining.
T: We'll have a three-day holiday, because the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming!(板书标题并带读.)
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)

(1)Brainstorming
教师用课件或单词卡片出示单词和短语:today, English class, the Mid-Autumn Festival,让学生思考,用以上词汇说出不同的句子.
S1: I like English class. Today, we are talking about the Mid- Autumn Festival. /...
T: The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming. Today, we have an English class, and we are talking about the Mid-Autumn Festival.(答案不唯一,教师可根据学生的回答灵活调整,但最好能运用标题句.)
(2)Quick response
教师用课件或图片快速出示moon, tea, fruit, family, mooncake等,学生看图抢答,快速说出单词(从已学单词到新单词)
T: What's this?
S1: It's a mooncake.(教师帮助学生回答,并操练新单词.)
T: What do you do at the Mid-Autumn Festival?
S2: We eat mooncakes/ drink lea/ eat fruits...
(3)教学新单词,并操练句型.
a.师生谈论月饼的味道,教师引导学生说出句子“Mooncakes taste sweet/ soft/ good/ …”
b.教师出示不同口味的月饼,图片或实物均可,谈论并学习新单词:type, nuts, lotus seed, red bean.
T: Which type do you like?
S1: I like the ones with …(教师帮助学生回答,并操练新单词.)
c.词汇操练:猜来猜去Which word in my mind?
教师在心里想一种月饼,如lotus seed/red bean mooncakes,或mooncakes with lotus seeds/ red beans/ meat/ fruit,让学生猜自己想的是哪种,然后根据学生的猜测回答“Yes! / No!”

(1)第一步:Listen and answer
不打开书,只听音,听音前,给出任务:
a.Who's shopping?
b.Where do they go shopping?
(2)第二步:Listen and find
不打开书,听第二遍,听音前,给出任务:
How many boxes of mooncakes does Mrs Li buy?
(3)第三步:Read and find
打开书,画出文中Mrs Li问的2个问题,并检查刚才听到的是否正确.
(4)第四步:Read and answer
a.Which type does Binbin like?
b.How much is a box of mooncakes?
c.What types does Mrs Li buy?
(5)第五步:Read and repeat
教师播放录音,学生跟读,提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调,尤其是最后一幅图中的对话,要读出满足、惬意的语气.
III. 趣味操练(Practice)
1.Group work:谁是最佳月饼销售员?
(1)学生分组,组内成员利用教师提供的单词卡片(也可自制不同口味月饼的单词卡片),准备向其他学生展示不同口味的月饼.
(2)学生向全班同学展示卡片,并向他们介绍月饼的口味.
S1: This is a box of lotus seed mooncakes.
S2: This is a box of red bean mooncakes.
S3: This is a box of mooncakes with nuts.
…
(3)试着向同学们推销月饼吧!
S1: These mooncakes taste good. Which type do you like?
Customer: How much is a box of lotus seed mooncakes?
S1: It's … yuan.
Customer: It's too expensive.
S1: …
(4)全班合作,评选出最佳月饼销售员和最佳顾客.
2.情境创设:中秋节快到了,Tim和妈妈去超市买月饼,准备利用假期去看望爷爷和奶奶.
Tim: Mum, look! Mooncakes!
Mum: Oh, the Mid-Autumn Festival is coming! Tim, let's buy some mooncakes.
Tim: Great!
Mum: Which type do you like?
Tim: I like the ones with …
Mum: And I think your grandpa and grandma like … So we can buy ... boxes.
【作业布置】
1.读一读,演一演:有感情地朗读A部分对话,并和家人进行表演.
2.背一背,记一记:在家人或朋友的帮助下背诵A部分对话,并听写B部分单词.
