设计说明 首先,通过与同学们谈论中国的两大节日——春节和中秋节引入关于感恩节的话题。接着,利用图片和例句学习本课节的词汇,并跟读练习。再由歌曲Celebrate!进入课文的学习,通过听音判断正误初步了解课文内容;通过阅读填空、阅读讨论及阅读表达等环节进一步掌握课文,巩固所学内容。之后,让学生们用所学句式自由表达感谢。最后,讲解本课中的重要知识点。本课节先通过词汇的教学为后面的学习扫清障碍,再由浅及深地展开对课文的学习,并通过当堂达标的习题检测学生的掌握情况。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:meal, conversation 接触单词:hug, turkey, gathering, dessert 短语和句型:give … a big hug, give thanks to … for… When they arrived, her grandfather opened the door. Show some pictures and ask students questions: Q1: What festival is it?
Answer: It’s Spring Festival. Q2: What about this?
Answer: It’s Mid-Autumn Festival. Q3: Do you always celebrate these holidays with your whole family? Answer: Yes, we do. Q4: Why do families like to celebrate holidays together? Answer: Because … Q5: When do we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival? Answer: In autumn. Q6: In western countries, there’s also a holiday that people celebrate with the whole family in autumn.
