However, it’s possible that life could exist in the planet’s atmosphere. Temperatures there are about -1℃ to 93℃,which is far more suitable __48___life.The pressure there is similar to that of Earth as well. The phosphine was found in Venus’ cloudy atmosphere-around 60 __49___ above its surface.
Phosphine is known as an indirect sign of life. So are gases like methane and ozone(臭氧). Scientists focus on such signs when they look for __50___ outside of Earth. 五、阅读理解(本题共10小题,每小题2分,共20分。)
A
Can you imagine astronauts’ everyday life in space? They also need to eat, sleep, exercise and relax. They do the same things as us, but they do them differently. On the earth, we put food on a plate. Gravity holds the food down and keeps it on a plate. But there is almost no gravity in space, so food can float(飘动) away, and astronauts must eat carefully.
Sleeping is very different in space. Some astronauts like to float in the air, but most like to be in a sleeping bag. They tie the bag to a wall so that they won’t float away at night. Exercise is very important in space. On the earth, your legs carry your body, but in space, astronauts float, so they do not use their legs often. This is very bad for their legs, so they must exercise for thirty minutes every day.
After a day’s work, astronauts relax. They may listen to music, read, watch films, play games, or talk to their friends and families on the earth.

Eating in space is different from eating on earth. The food that astronauts carry with them does not look like the food you eat. Some food is carried in closed bags. It is cooked and frozen ( 冷冻) before the astronauts get it.All the water is removed from the food. In the space capsule(太空舱),the astronaut puts the water back. He “shoots” hot or cold water into the food with a special gun. He eats the food through a small hole in the bag. Other foods come in bigger sizes. The astronaut puts a whole piece in his mouth at once. There can be no crumbs(碎屑). Crumbs would float(漂浮) around the capsule and get in the way. Meat, cake and rice often come in bite-sized pieces.
Astronauts cannot drink water from open cups. The water would float in drops in the air. The water is put in the special gun. The astronaut shoots the water into his mouth. Eating in space is not easy. Astronauts must learn to eat in this way.
