Step 1 Warmup & Revision
1. 练习:动词原形与其过去式的配对。教师用课件呈现所学的动词及其过去式,让学生连线。如go—went, visit—visited, see—saw, say—said等。
2. 教师用课件出示chant,师生一起拍打着节奏,大声说唱:
Where were you last week? I was, was in China.
What did you visit there?I visited, visited the Great Wall.
Where were you last week? I was, was in Hangzhou.
What did you see there? I saw, saw the West Lake.
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
B Let’s Write
1. 用课件呈现E部分的课本挂图,教师创设情境: Last month, Mr Black visited four cities in China. Please look at the form and fill in the blanks.
2. 师生一起就表格信息进行口头交流。注意提醒学生使用一般过去时。
3. 学生根据表格内容,逐步写出完整的句子。
4. 请几名学生起来读出填写完整的句子,教师板书并核对答案。
F Let’s Have Fun
1. 教师用课件呈现两张图片,女士、男士各一张,帮助学生理解lady和sir的意思。
2. 听F部分的歌曲,回答问题: Where was the little lady?
3. 教师可先带读歌词,然后播放歌曲,学生逐句跟唱。
4. 歌唱大赛。学生分组、分男女阵营演唱歌曲,评选出表现最好的小组,教师给予奖励。
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
活动:制作海报——人在旅途。
学生自由组合,以“人在旅途”为主题制作海报,讲述自己旅途中的逸闻趣事。制作完成后在全班进行展示并描述,评出“最佳设计奖”“最佳表述奖”“最佳海报奖”等奖项。
Step 4 Summary& Homework
1. 小结:师生共同总结本单元所学的重点知识。
2. 作业:(1)听录音,将F部分的歌曲唱给家人或朋友听;(2)完成练习册Unit 10。
Unit 10 Where were you yesterday?
The weather in Beijing was windy.
The weather in Changsha was rainy.
The weather in Sanya was sunny.
The weather in Xi’an was cloudy.
E部分创设情境,逐步引导学生写出完整的句子。F部分通过演唱歌曲,让学生巩固本单元的重点句型“—Where were you...? —I was...”。通过本单元的教学,我发现学生对一般过去时的意义、动词过去式的变化不是很了解,教学活动中这一块的训练还需加强。
