1. New words: sell, buy, socks, T-shirt, shorts, sweater, shoes, skirt; trousers.
2. Sentence: How much is this…?               It’s ….

Teaching procedure（教学过程）:

Step 1 Greeting and lead in

1. Greeting: Hello, boys and girls, welcome to Miss Wei’s store. (Have a simple greeting.)
2. Ask the models to show the clothes in the classroom. Then ask: “Do you like these clothes? Do you want to buy them?” to introduce the new lesson.（通过学生走秀的表演调动气氛，导入新课，表达本课主题）

Step 2 Presentation

1. Show the clothes to the students and teach the new words of clothes.
2. Teach the differences between yuan and dollar.
3. Express the new structures of this unit

“How much is this…”   “It’s…”             

“How much are these…” “They’re…”

（通过实物展示，学习新单词和句型，让学生们对新句型有初步印象，并且知道人民币和美元的区别）

4.  Work on 1a, match the words with the things in the picture.

5.  Listen again and circle the things you hear in the picture in 1a.

Step 3 Pair work

1. Ask students to work in pairs and make conversations
2. Show their conversations

（简短的对话操练句型，强化学生们对句型的掌握，特别注意单复数的提问和回答的不同。）

Step 4 Revision, listening and singing

1. Review the words of color and do some listening in section A 2b, 2c.
2. Divide boys and girls into two parts and ask answer the price of the clothes in the screen.（加入颜色后继续操练，练习听力并迅速写出正确的价钱，接着学生齐唱color song。再次联系颜色和衣服。）

Step 5 Reading and translation

Read the conversation in 2e together, and then translate the Chinese together.（快速理解和处理2e内容，当堂翻译，掌握好中英文的转化）

Step 6 Group work

Ask the group members make some conversations, one is the salesperson, and the other two are mom and son (daughter), Let the students come to the platform and have a performance.

（小组活动，在表演中加强学生对本课字词和句型的巩固和加深印象，并且给学生更多展示空间）

Step 7 Summary

Review the key words and sentences

Step 8 Homework

1. Copy the new words   
2. Finish the exercises in the book.
