    教学内容分析:

    本课时为八年级上册第六单元最后一课时,学生在前面四课时已经完成了对be going to 句型的学习,基本掌握了本单元的词和短语,以及跟be going to 相关的句型,这是一节写作复习课,通过本课时的学习,学生能够在复习的基础上,完成本单元的话题作文。

    学习者分析:

    情感方面初中八年级学生处于各种各样的梦想年纪通过学习这一课,引导学生对未来充满希望一个有梦想的人。

    能力方面:养成好的作文习惯,学习作文技能。

    Teaching Aims

    1. Knowledge aims:

    (1) students can use the words and phrases that they have learned in the last four periods;

      computer programmer,cook,doctor,engineer,violinist,driver,piolot,pianist,scientist

    (2) students can use “be going to” to make sentences;

    2. Ability aims:

    students can improve their writing skills.

    3. Emotional aims :

    students should be a hard-working person .

    Teaching Key Points:

    (1) The usage of simple future tense;

    (2) The ways to write My Dream Job.

    Teaching difficult Points:

    (1)Can make good plans to achieve their dreams.

    (2)Write the composition in a good way.

    Teaching Aids: Multimedia.

    Teaching Methods:

    Communicative method and task-based teaching method.

    Teaching Procedures:

    Step1. Lead-inreview

    Let Students review some words about jobs.

    Let Students review the sentence structures.

    Use the be going to make longer sentences.

    设计意图:复习职业词汇和句型,为作文铺垫,回答两个特殊疑问词what and why

    Step2 Pre - writing

     (1)Let students match the dream jobs with the ways to achieve them.

    Add I am going to be... , and I am going to...  to make complete sentences.

    Then, read the sentences together.

    Change one way into many ways to achieve the dream jobs.

    设计意图:让学生熟悉某种职业及实现该职业梦想的一种方式。并以句子形式阅读,形成由词组到句子的过渡。

    (2)  True or False.

    In this part, I put an example to let students discuss how you are going to be a violinist. Put eight ways on the powerpoint and let students choose the true ones. Use firstnextthenfinally to make a short article.

    After each phrase, read a whole sentence I am going to ...

    For example:

    T: If you are going to be a violinist. How are going to do that?

    Students: ….T/ F and read each sentence.

    T: (Feedback)Maybe we should make a list. First, I am going to ....Next, I am going to .... Then, I am going to .... At last, I am going to ....

    Ss Read the short article together.

    设计意图:让学生熟悉实现一种理想职业可以有多种实现方式,扩充短语。以句子形式阅读,形成说完整句子的好习惯。

    (3)  Have a try!

    I lead students to make sentences like first...next...then...finally.... In this part, I give 2 dream jobs, and let students themselves make sentences using first..., next...then...finally... in the whole class.

    For example:

    T:  There are many ways to be a singer. If you are going to be a singer. How are you going to do that?

    S1:I am going to...

    S2:I am going to...

    S3:I am going to...

       ...

    T: We can also make a list.  First, I am going to ....Next, I am going to .... Then, I am going to .... At last, I am going to ....

    Ss Read the short article together.

    设计意图:在老师引导了一种职业可以有不同种实现方式的基础上,让全班学生自主地就不同的两个职业发散思维,说出更多实现方法的句子。

    (4)  Group work(看谁说的句子更多)

    要求:四人一组,从要求的两个职业中选择一个,讨论怎样去实现梦想。

    There are eight different jobs in the part to choose. Every group chooses different one and discuss in group of 4. Use the form first...next...then...finally....

    For example:

    S1:I am going to be a .... First, I am going to...

    S2:Next, I am going to...

    S3:Then,I am going to...

    S4:Finally, I am going to...

    Share the answers.

    设计意图:以更小的集体去解决问题,小组四人说出针对某一种职业的实现方法。更好地解决英语作文中间部分的一个疑问词how。分享环节,为学生作文提供更多思路。

    5Through the letter from Yao Ming, let students know the questions that we should answer.

    Ask one student to role play the little Yao Ming. Read the whole article for us.

    Circle some information and ask students how to ask questions on these words.

    That’s the body of the article.

    设计意图:补充文章需要回答的when和where 2个问题。强调需回答的5个疑问词what, why, how,where and when.

    6Analyse the article structure and let students add the beginning and the ending.

    Teacher gives the good phrases that can be put to the beginning and the ending.

    Give the complete composition.  Read together.

    设计意图:分析文章结构,让学生自己加作文开头和结尾,构成完整作文的基础上,总结作文开头结尾常用短语,帮助学生一步步攻破如何写《我的理想工作》这篇文章。

    Step3. While- writing

    Write the article My dream Job.

    Give the tips to help students write.

    Ask 1 student to write his composition on the blackboard.

    Walk around to give helps.

    设计意图:1.学以致用,铺垫过后,生成作文;

    Step4. Post- writing

    Let some students read their articles aloud, and others give the feedback.

    Share articles and judge them.

    Correct the article on the blackboard.

    设计意图:锻炼学生评判作文能力,提升作文能力。

    Step5. Try your best to make your dreams come true.

    Step6.Homework
    Write the article My Dream Job.

    Step7. Blackboard Design
