【知识考点一】
I was born in January.  我在一月出生。

 was  是is 和am 的过去式。

 born  意为“出生”

 句子结构：I was born in +月份.

 该句型用于介绍自己出生在几月，in 后面要接表示月份的单词。其中was 不能改为is 或am 。

 拓展：My birthday is in + 月份. 该句型也可以介绍自己出生在几月。

 e.g.  I was born in March.  我在三月出生。

      My birthday is in March.

    公历一年有12个月，但不少人并不知道12 个月的英语名称的来历。公历起源于古罗马历法。罗马的英语原来只有10 个月，古罗马皇帝决定增加两个月放在年尾，后来朱里斯凯撒大帝把这两个月移到年初，成为1月、2月，原来的1月、2月便成了3月、4月，依次类推。这就是今天世界沿用的公历。
