【知识考点一】
---Who’s that woman?  那个女人是谁？

 --- She’s Miss Liu, our teacher.  她是刘小姐，我们的老师。

 who  意为“谁”，位于句首引导特殊疑问句。

 Who’s 是Who is 的缩写形式。

 问句：Who’s that + 某人 (man, woman, boy...) ?

 答语：He’s/ She’s + 身份/ 姓名 (my father, my brother, Lily...).

 e.g. ---Who’s that little boy?   那个小男孩是谁？

--- He is my brother, John.  他是我的弟弟，John。

 拓展：英语中的人称代词

【知识考点二】

 He looks like a cook. 他看起来像一个厨师。

 look like  意思是“看起来像”，在这个短语中，look 是动词，表示“看上去”，like 是介词，

 表示“像”，后面可以接名词或代词。例如：look like an apple  看起来像一个苹果；look like

 a horse  看起来像一匹马

 句子结构：He/She looks like a/an + 名词.

 e.g. --- Who’s that girl? 那个小女孩是谁？

--- Sorry, I don’t know. But she looks like our new classmate.

对不起，我不知道。但她看起来像我们的新同学。

【知识考点三】

 Can you see him?  你能看见他吗？

 can 是情态动词， 意为“能”，后接动词原形。

 can’t 是can 的缩写形式。

 问句：Can you see + 人/ 物？

 答语：Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.

 此句用于询问对方能否看见某人或某物，属于情态动词的疑问句。

 其基本框架是：情态动词+ 人/物+ 动词原形+其他？

 e.g. Can you take a picture for me?  你能帮我拍张照吗？

 拓展：情态动词can 的其他用法

 情态动词can 还可以表示“允许，许可”

 e.g. --- Can I have some coke?  我可以喝些可乐吗？

--- Yes, you can.  是的，可以。

【知识考点四】

 May is a girl in a pink blouse and blue jeans. 

 梅是一个穿着粉红色的衬衫和蓝色的牛仔裤的女孩。

 in a pink blouse   意为“穿着粉红色衬衫”，用于修饰前面的名词girl。

 in+ 服装 构成介词短语，修饰前面的名词，用于描述某人的穿着打扮。

 e.g. The man in a white coat is a doctor.   穿着白色外套的男人是一名医生。

 Jim is a boy with a cap in a green shorts.

 着眼镜的， with a cap  戴着鸭舌帽的；
