【学习目标】

一．语言知识与技能目标

（一）语言知识目标

1.能熟练地听、说、读以下词汇：

present, cake, card, candle, party, January, was, be born, go on

2. 能听读以下句型：

1）What’s going on?

2）I was born in January.

3. 能借助情境理解课文，并进行表演。

（二）语言技能目标

1.能用正确的语音语调朗读课文对话。

2.能在听说的活动中理解和运用本课单词和句型，并能运用所学的语言进行模拟交际。

（三）学习策略目标

小组合作学习，积极交流，共同完成学习任务。

（四）情感态度目标

1. 乐于模仿，敢于开口说英语，积极与人交流。

2. 通过活动，培养学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和积极性。

（五）文化意识目标

通过本话题的学习，学会祝福别人的生日，并养成礼貌得体的交际礼仪。

二、学情分析

四年级的学生一般都活泼好动，形象思维好。但本模块词汇量大，功能词多，尤其是比较复杂的12个月份的单词学习，可能让学生对英语产生了一定的畏难感。而且他们对旧知识的遗忘率较高，因此常常表达起来不是很流畅。创设生日会的情景，营造融洽愉快的课堂氛围，有利于打破不敢说英语的心理障碍。经过Module5的学习，学生基本掌握了现在进行时的结构，对动词ing形式并不陌生。利用抽签的方式寻找小寿星，满足孩子们的寻求刺激的特点，增进他们进行小组合作学习的热情。

三、教学重、难点

重点：1.能正确理解并流利朗读课文。

2. I was born in + 月份的句型

难点: What’s going on？的理解和运用。

【资源准备】

教具（生日蛋糕、蜡烛、生日卡、动物头饰）、绘本音频录制、相关视频

四、教学策略

1.利用图片、视频、实物创设情景，帮助学生直观地理解和学习对话内容。

2.重视全员参与，采取全班学习、个人学习、小组合作学习的形式，使各个层面的学生都能参与。

五、教学过程

The animals answer “I’m … .” Teacher say: “Let’s put … candles on the birthday cake.” 4-1 Teacher reads the story and students listen Students read the story together. Group work: read the story	Review the sports phrases from Unit 9 and Unit 10. Drawing out the topic: birthday party. Learn the new words: present, cake, card, candle, party.
