Teacher leads students to talk about the pictures with the sentence patters given:
① Teacher leads students to learn more key words about family with the information given. ② Then teacher leads students to add the words in the box to the family tree in 1a. ③ Teacher leads students to read the sentences and fill in the blanks.
④ Teacher plays the recording, and students listen and check (√) the words they hear. ⑤ Teacher shows two pictures and leads students to discuss who are the people in them.
⑥ Teacher plays the recording for the second time, students listen again and then choose which picture Jiang Tao and Tom are talking about. ⑦ Teacher plays the recording for the third time, students listen and fill in the blanks.
⑧ Teacher gives students a few minutes to get ready, and then chooses a few of them to tell the whole class about their family .
Teacher leads students to summarize the key language pionts in this class.
