Lesson 25
一、 Warmning up
1. sing a song
2. There will be a competition between two groups. Devide the class into two groups.
3. Talk about the coming weekends . Talk about the plans with the sentences "shall we..."
4. Lead in " picnic" with pictures. Tell the students when we have a picnic ,we should take something to drink or something to eat. and then review the words about food 。
二.、Presentation and practice
Tools: PPT、a basket which is full of delicious food、fruit)
1.Introduction to " I'd like a/an/some"
Language: If you want to eat or drink something ,you can say: I'd like .......
Then tell the student the usage of a/an/some
(I'd like a banana / I'd like an apple ./ I'd like some apples/ I'd like some milk)
2.Pratice - Let's have a choice:
There will present some food . If we say: I'd like a ..... Which would you choose.? If we say: I'd like an ..... Which would you choose? If we say " I'd like some?Which would you choose? Then tell the stuends , if I want to know what they would like if they have a picnic. I can ask like this: What would you like?
3. Ask and asnswer
First,I will take out the basket which is full of delicious food and drinks .I will ask them. I want to know what you would like if you have a picnic. And then I come up to the students and ask him/her: What would you like ? and the students choose something they like best and answer with the sentences I'd like a/ an / some.
Then ask and answer in groups . Partners work in pairs! One asks, and the other choose the things he/she like best to answer, then exchange the role.
Fill in the blank with the food which are present on the PPT. This part mainly lead in new words sausage and pay attention to the prnounciation of the plural form of sausage: sausages.
Rewiew the words: cake and bread we learnt before which we must be able to write now.
Enjoy a piece of video about WangJunkai whose content is about his picnic . (这部分是通过网上找到的当红的童星采访的视频将原来的声音除去,之后重新配音,内容和本课有关,吸引学生。让学生主动能说出 What would Wang Junkai like?)
三、Listening and reading
1. Listenning or Watching with questions.
Take out a picture of Lisa's family about their picnic. Ask the stuents to think
what would Lisa's family like.
①What would Lisa's father like?
②What would Lisa's mother like?
③What woulk Lisa like?
2. Watching the video and follow it .Pay attention to the pronouciation
3. Read the dialouge by roles
4. Act out the dialouges.
Three students are needed . One is for Lisa ; One is for Lisa's mother ; and one is
for Lisa's father
5. Read together.
四、Expand
In our daily life, We can use the sentences " What would you like?" and "I'd like......" Present 3 different places' picture. (on the plane, in the restaurant, in the dining hall.) And give an example of a short dialouge .Ask the students to select a situation to make the dialouge on the screen.
五、Play a game.
tool: ① a basket which is full of delicious food 、 drinks、 fruit
② a piece of cloth
③ PPT (turntable games)
A turntable with an arrow. I need one student to come to the front. When the arrow switches , other students will ask " What would you like?" and the student will guess and he or she has only two chances to guess. When the arrow stops , If he or she is able to guess, he will find the right thing he has been able to guess within 10 seconds. (a countdown) Anyone who is able to guess will win for this round game.(3~4 rounds)
六、 Assessment
Look at the blackboard . That's all what we have learned today! Look at the result ,and the group which can get more food (tools) will be the winner. Ask the students to count together.
七、Homework
Do a survey. Ask your fiend around you what food / fruit/ drinks would they like. Write it down and try to make a dialouge with the messages you have collected.
