本单元主要是要求学生掌握句型We should…来讨论怎样照顾自己，里面涉及了各方面的具体做法，要求学生掌握词组：keep our body clean, eat healthy food, feel happy, do exercise every day, 旨培养学生良好的生活习惯，珍惜生命，热爱生活。

课  题：Unit 3 We should learn to take care of ourselves

第一课时

教学目标：

1、能听说，认读新单词take care of , healthy, keep, exercise, jog 

2、能用“We should…”来讨论怎么样照顾自己。

3、能听懂会读Part A部分的对话。

4、能默写B部分单词，并造句。

5、培养学生合作学习，共同谈论话题的能力和习惯。

教学重点、难点：

重点：新单词与句型的学习与运用。

难点：We should 句型话题谈论如何好好照顾自己。

教学准备：磁带、录音机、英语书、练习本、单词卡片、PPT

教学过程：        

Step 1 Warming up

1、Greetings

T：Good morning, boys and girls. Glad to see you again. What are we going to do?

Ss: We’ll…（自由回答）

2、Revision

根据PPT图片，复习上个学期的知识：We should keep the rives clean. We should the air clean and fresh. We should plant more trees. We should use bikes instead of cars.

Step 2 Presentation

1、 Lead-in

T: The world is beautiful, and we live in a peaceful environment. But many people got a bad body. They have cancer, heart illness and so on. (出示人们生病的图片) So, we should take care of ourselves. We should be healthy and strong. (板书标题)

2、 New presentation

a. new phrases

    T: What should we do to take care of ourselves?

S1：We should keep our body clean.

S2: We should eat healthy food.

S3：We should do exercise every day.

板书新词组并教授。

b. Part A

Listen to the tape for the first time and answer the questions.

What should we do to keep our body clean?

What should we do to be healthy?

What should we do to be strong?

Check the answer and analyze the text.

Step 3 Practice 

1、 Read after the tape.

2、 Role play.

3、 Read together.

Step 4 Homework

1、 Read Part A for 2 times.

2、 Copy Part B for five times.

学法指导：

给学生进行课前热身，运用第一单元的句型进行口语交际。

复习上个学期的知识，“温故而知新”，思考should的用法。

直接引入课题，唤起学生的思考。

鼓励积极思考并大胆回答。多运用表扬性语言。

以听力答题方式学习A部分，集中学生注意力，提高学生的听力能力。

第二课时

教学目标：

1、继续巩固新单词take care of , healthy, keep, exercise, jog，能默写。

2、能熟读课文A部分，并且试着背诵。

3、能够读懂Part D部分的对话，完成练习

4. 培养阅读策略。

5. 能够读出课文，并且仿写课文。

6. 试着根据关键词复述课文

教学重点、难点：

重点：根据短文完成练习，理解课文大意。

难点：阅读策略培养，短语和第三人称单数的巩固。

教学准备：

单词卡片、磁带、录音机、PPT、英语书、练习本

教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up

2、Revision(看图说短语，造句子，单词默写)

Step2 Presentation

1、 Make a survey.

Finish the chart according to yourselves.

2、 Students give a report.

Step 3 Practice

1、 Part D 部分

Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

How old is Mr Lin?

What does Mr Lin do every morning?

What does he have for lunch?

Open the book to Page 11, read part D, then finish exercise 2.

2、 Group-work

四人一组，尝试复述Part D.

Step 4 Homework

1、熟读Part A 和Part D部分，背诵A部分。

2、默写Part B部分单词

学法指导：

以调查形式展开新课，学生根据自己实际情况回答，有针对性，鼓励学生多思考，多展示。

采用听力的形式，培养学生的听力能力，要求学生抓关键。

培养合作精神。
