教学过程
Step 1 . Lead-in
The teacher can take ut a bk and says “I have a bk” and then takes ut sme bks and says “I have sme bks”. Write “I have sme bks.” n the blackbard. Next , the teacher can take ut a bttle f water and says “I have sme water.” Write the sentence n the blackbard. Underline “sme bks” and “sme water”. ask students t find ut the rule, that is we can put “ sme ” befre cuntable nuns and uncuntable nuns.
Step 2 . Presentatin
Read Part A n page 85 and answer sme questins.
Which festival are they getting ready fr?
What des the girl want t buy?
Des she have any mney?
Let the students find ut the rules abut sme and any. The teacher can cnclude that “sme” can be used in psitive sentences and “any”can be used in questin and negative sentences. Besides, the teacher shuld add that “sme” als can be used in questins. We use it when we are making ffers and requests and we expected the answer t be “yes”.
Ask students t cmplete exercises. First, students wrd individually. Then students check their answers in pairs. After that, act the dialgue ut.
Step 3 . Practice
Wrk in pairs t make a dialgue like this:
A: My birthday is cming . i want t buy smething fr my birthday party. Let’s g shpping.
B: All right. D yu need sme fruit?.
A: Sure. I need sme bananas and ranges.
B: What abut drinks?
A: I need sme juice and cla.
2. Shw sme pictures abut cuntable nuns and uncuntable nuns. Let students practise using sme and any.
Step 4 . Presentatin
Present the tw sentences”There is a bk n the desk.” “There are sme bks n the desk. ” let students tell the differences between the tw sentences.
Explain the meaning f “ there is ” and “there are” and the differences between them . we use “there be ” t shw that smething exists. We use “there is ” befre a singular nun r an uncuntable nun. We use “there are ” befre a plural nun.
Step 5 . Practice
Shw sme pictures and make sme sentences by using there be.
There is sme water in the bttle.
There are sme pens in the bx.
There is an English bk n my desk.
Write them n the blackbard and ask “Hw can I change them int a ‘yes’ r ‘n’ questin?” discuss in pairs.
Let the students make a cnclusin abut hw t read the sentences in Part B n page 86.
Ask students t cmplete Part B and then check the answers as a whle class activity.
Read the passage tgether.
Step 6. Cnclusin
