Step 1: Warm up
Greeting.
Step 2: Presentatin
Describe the phts r pictures with cmparing the present and the past.
1. Tell the Students “wasn’t” and “was nt” are the same. And “weren’t” is the same as “were nt”.
2. Play the tape and have the Students listen and find ut the adjectives. And reprt them. ( Review the adjectives and find ut the differences)
3. Learn the chant.
First, get the Students t lk at the pictures and describe them.
( A small chick and tw big fat hens.) Then play the spken versin f the chant and get the Students t repeat the wrds then chant.
Step 3: Teacher-student interactin
1. Have the students d Part5.
Lk at the pictures. Cmpare “nw” and “then”. Then describe the pictures. (Cultivate the Students’ ral English.)
2. Have the students t shw and talk abut their phts.
3. Play a game.
Have the Students wrk in grups. S1 will act ut S2 wh was in many years ag. Then S3 will intrduce the tw Students. Find ut sme changes with the past and present tense.
