    【规律方法】形非而神似的定语从句
    我们常见的定语从句都是一个含有关系代词或关系副词并且能够对其前面的先行词起修饰限定或补充作用的句子。定语从句作为一个句子是必须有它的谓语的, 但是有一种定语从句比较特殊, 它含有关系词却不是一个句子, 但实际上却起了定语从句的作用, 我们称它为简单化的定语从句, 其常见的形式为:

    Well, a fingerprint is frmed when a finger makes cntact with a surface. Mst fingerprints are invisible t the naked eyes and require a chemical develpment prcess in rder t make them visible. Stuck between the ridges f a fingerprint, hwever, are substances that can tell a stry abut wh we are. Things like traces f sweat, bld, and fd reveal a lt f infrmatin abut us—what we’ve tuched, what we’ve eaten and even what drugs we’ve taken.
    At the mment, the technique used t detect these substances is mstly used in crime detectin, but its applicatin culd be much wider, accrding t Bailey, wh lectures in chemistry at the University f Surrey in the UK.     Rd and Susan will get married by linking their lcal minister in San Dieg, Califrnia at 9: 00 pm EST tnight, and the wedding will be bradcast live by several majr TV netwrks in a 1-hur special reprt, including the preparatins fr the trip.
