travel的用法：①v.旅行，游历。例：They plan to travel around the world after they retire.他们计划退休后环游世界。②n.旅游，旅行。它泛指旅游这一活动时，作不可数名词；如果指具体的到某些地方的旅游时，常用其复数形式travels。例：He met many interesting people in his travels.旅行中他遇到了许多有趣的人。
设计意图：通过1b和1c的听力练习，培养学生听取大意及细节信息的能力；通过1d的对话练习，帮助学生运用目标语言进行日常交际的能力。
