By 2020, all cities abve the prefecture-level had full cverage f 5G netwrks, with mre than 200 millin 5G terminal cnnectins and ver 1,100 5G plus industrial internet prjects, he added.
China will build mre than 600,000 5G base statins in 2021, while prmting the 5G netwrk cverage in a wider range and at mre levels, Zha said.
The cuntry will fster emerging cnsumptin mdels such as 5G plus VR/AR and immersive gaming and prmte the integratin f 5G technlgy int life services including health, elderly care and husekeeping.
Cntinuus effrts will als be made t rganize 5G millimeter wave tests, speed up the research and develpment f key technlgies, shre up the weak links and ensure the safety f the industrial and supply chains, said Zha.
