Grammar A. Cmparing the amunt f things We can cmpare the amunt f things using mre ... than, fewer ... than and less ... than. We use the mst fr the largest amunt and the fewest/the least fr the smallest amunt.

least /liːst/ adj. 最少的 adv. 最小e.g. He has the least juice f all. 在所有人中，他的果汁最少。The cat csts at least 200 yuan. 这件外套至少花200 元。

furthest 与farthest 是far的最高级，意为“最远”，其区别和further 与farther的区别相似。

(重点) fewer 是few 的比较级，与可数名词的复数形式连用。e.g. I have fewer apples than Kate.我的苹果比凯特的少。Jhn studies fewer subjects than Tm.约翰学的科目比汤姆少。
less 是 little 的比较级，与不可数名词连用。e.g. I ate less fd than yu. 我吃的食物比你少。I spend less mney n clthes than my sister.我在衣服上花的钱比我的姐姐少。

fewest 是few 的最高级，与可数名词复数连用。e.g. Tm asks the fewest questins in ur class.在我们班上汤姆提的问题最少。Wh picked the fewest apples tday?今天谁摘的苹果最少？

【分析】句意：—一年中，哪个月的天数最少？—二月。根据比较范围“in a year”可知，此处应用最高级，故排除A、B；days 是可数名词复数，所以用few 的最高级fewest。
least 是little 的最高级，与不可数名词连用。e.g. Daniel did the least wrk yesterday afternn.丹尼尔昨天下午做的工作最少。My mther gives the least advice in my family. 我妈妈是我家中给建议最少的。
我们可以用方式副词对所发生的事情加以更详细的描述。方式副词在句中一般作状语，一般位于动词后，修饰动词。常见的方式副词有：badly，highly，fast，quickly，happily，well，ludly，plitely，warmly 等。
副词的比较级和最高级的变化与形容词大致相同，但以后缀ly 结尾的副词通常需要在其前加mre 或mst。e.g. mre carefully 更仔细地mst carefully 最仔细地
巧记形容词（副词）特殊形式比较级和最高级特殊形式比较级，共有三对二合一，坏病两多并两好。little一词双意含，只译少来不译小。一分为二有两个，一是远来二是老。
用于否定句时，第一个as 可以换成s。e.g. She sings as well as a singer.她歌唱得像歌唱家一样好。He desn’t d s well in the test as Mary. 他在测试中没有玛丽做得好。
