It is ften said that the best teachers are thse wh are able t frm a sincere relatinship with their students. This was never a prblem fr my secnd-grade teacher, as she viewed all f her students as family. Of curse. in my case, it was actually true, because my secnd-grade teacher was my mther.

The Gergetwn University researchers have been attaching tracking (跟踪) tags n birds and animals fr many years. The new system permits scientists t watch sngbird mvements frm a faraway place in much greater detail than befre.
“We’re in a srt f glden age fr bird research,” said Adriaan Dkter, an eclgist at Crnell University, adding that the technlgy is imprving as the tags are made smaller and smaller. “We can track a rbin by satellite with smaller and smaller chips. The lab regularly hsts ugly fruit markets, ffering these strange fruits which are ften thrwn away by traditinal markets and cnsumers at a quite attractive price. “They’re thrwn away simply because f their appearance. Buying fruit regardless f hw they lk reduces fd waste significantly in ur daily life,” Fng cmmented.
A water tank with tw types f straws is anther equipment in the lab. “One type is made frm nrmal plastics widely used in ur daily life while the ther is frm PHA, a new replacement fr plastics, and the water is surced frm the Suzhu River,” explained Ni Li, an emplyee f the lab.
