It is ften said that the best teachers are thse wh are able t frm a sincere relatinship with their students. This was never a prblem fr my secnd-grade teacher, as she viewed all f her students as family. Of curse. in my case, it was actually true, because my secnd-grade teacher was my mther.

The lab regularly hsts ugly fruit markets, ffering these strange fruits which are ften thrwn away by traditinal markets and cnsumers at a quite attractive price. “They’re thrwn away simply because f their appearance. Buying fruit regardless f hw they lk reduces fd waste significantly in ur daily life,” Fng cmmented.
A water tank with tw types f straws is anther equipment in the lab. “One type is made frm nrmal plastics widely used in ur daily life while the ther is frm PHA, a new replacement fr plastics, and the water is surced frm the Suzhu River,” explained Ni Li, an emplyee f the lab. 3R Lab is lcated in Xuhui district, Shanghai. It ffers exhibitins, activities and gds that shwcase the 3R principle. The key t a sustainable life, accrding t Vincent T. M. Fng, the 32-year-ld frm Hng Kng wh created the lab, is t make it a lng-term prmise. “A sustainable life shuld be sustainable itself in the first place. Yu can’t lead a sustainable life n a whim. Small and cmfrtable changes are exactly what yu need,” Fng said.
The lab regularly hsts ugly fruit markets, ffering these strange fruits which are ften thrwn away by traditinal markets and cnsumers at a quite attractive price. “They’re thrwn away simply because f their appearance. Buying fruit regardless f hw they lk reduces fd waste significantly in ur daily life,” Fng cmmented.
A water tank with tw types f straws is anther equipment in the lab. “One type is made frm nrmal plastics widely used in ur daily life while the ther is frm PHA, a new replacement fr plastics, and the water is surced frm the Suzhu River,” explained Ni Li, an emplyee f the lab. Visitrs can see hw the PHA straws degrade (降解) int a thin layer in just ne mnth, while the thers remain unchanged.
“Leading a sustainable life des nt necessarily mean sacrifice,” said Fng. Cnsuming ugly fruit and using degradable plastics are small changes that are gd fr the envirnment and easy t stick t. Only in this way can the 3R principle becme part f ur lives, he added.
After wrking there fr six mnths, Ni, wh wasn’t mindful f the 3R principle befre arriving at the lab, nw uses her cup every time she buys a cffee. “The jb has reshaped my life,” Ni said.
