Sctt arrived at the Ple with fur team members n 17 January, 1912, and was disheartened.
Amundsen reached the Ple n 14 December, 1911 and put a Nrwegian flag there.

Amundsen and his team arrived safely back t their starting base n 25 January, 1912, ten days ahead f their planned schedule.
