    When I first arrived in Csta Rica, I always heard peple saying, “pura vida”. Translated frm Spanish, it means “pure lie”. It’s used as a greeting and t describe hw things are ging. It can describe a persn r life in general. It’s usually said with a big smile, meaning everything is gd. And I heartily agree.
    I cnsider Csta Rica t be my secnd hme. I first went there in 2005 t help start a small family business and t this day I return ften. It’s hard nt t fall in lve with this cuntry. I see beautiful beaches, wild frests and breathtaking views everywhere. The wildlife is especially amazing! I never knw what I’ll see right frm the windw f my guesthuse. It’s a cuntry that helps me see the gd in everything.
    When I’m in Csta Rica, I live in Mntezuma, which is n the cean near Cab Blanc Nature Reserve. This little twn is an ut-f-the way turist destinatin. Getting there can be an adventure, but it’s all pura vida !
    Peple ften ask when they shuld visit Csta Rica. I always answer, “D yu want t cme during the dry seasn r the green seasn?” The dry Seasn starts in December and is the perfect time t enjy blue waters and sandy beaches. Hwever, the sun is very strng, s use lts f sunscreen.
    When the rains return in May, the green seasn begins. It’s the perfect time t see wildlife and s much mre. I lve watching wildlife s the green seasn is my persnal favrite.
    Keep an eye ut at the beach. Several species f turtles (海龟) live n Cstae Rica’s beaches. I suggest supprting the rganizatins that are wrking t prtect by taking a tur f their nesting sites.
