Do you know underwater football? It started in Canada in the 1960s. It is an old and unusual sport, but many Canadians still like it now.
Like traditional football, underwater football is also a two-team sport. But what makes it different from traditional football is the place for the match (比赛). Players usually need to stay underwater to play it in a special swimming pool. So players are able to dive (潜水) as well as play football.
During the match, each team has 13 players, but only 5 players from each team are in the pool at a time. To score (得分), players need to carry or pass a ball from one side of the swimming pool to the other. The player with the ball can swim with it or pass it to his team players. He can carry the ball not only with his feet, but also with his hands and legs or hold it against the body of another player. At the same time, players from the other team can try to take the ball or intercept a pass. Certainly, players need to wear special clothes to keep them safe (安全的). Each of them can go up to take the air when the ball is not in their hands.
Anyone of any age can enjoy the sport. Do you want to have a try?

A few days ago, I bought a T-shirt for 200 yuan. Compared to my other clothes, it was much more expensive. When my father found out, he was very angry and questioned if I made the right choice (选择). That made me feel really upset. What should I do?
Justin
Hi Justin,
Try to put yourself in your parents’ shoes. Your parents work hard to make money to bring up the family, so they have the right to know how you spend money.
When I was young, I knew little about money. Once I asked my parents for a robot car as my birthday gift. When it arrived, I was very excited. I played with the car the whole day, but then I lost interest in it. Several weeks later, I saw a robot dog on TV and I wanted this new toy again. I already forgot about the robot car.
When you grow up and get a job, you will know how hard it is to make money. Then you’ll understand your dad. In my opinion, this T-shirt is too expensive for you. Instead of spending a lot of money on the latest fashion (最新时尚), you should buy things that will be useful to you in the long term. I think you should spend money wisely.
Alex
