该板块综合测评的项目活动的主题是“问卷调查学生的体育爱好和需求”（Make a survey n sprts interests and needs）。设置该活动的目的有两个：一是帮助学生树立积极参加体育锻炼的意识，让他们不仅把体育当作一种爱好，还应把它当成生活中必不可少的一部分；二是培养学生调查和研究的能力。教科书中给出了调查选题和调查范围，即“Yur schl wants t start sme new sprts clubs. Which clubs wuld best fit students interests and needs?”。
