教学主题	该板块由两部分组成，第一部分为语言知识检测。活动1通过补全句子巩固本单元重点词汇，活动2设置了讨论美国音乐的对话语境，通过改写句子巩固省略这一语法学习内容。第二部分为自我反思与评价，所提供的问题聚焦“文化多样性”这一主题，引导学生回顾自己在本单元学到了什么、还想了解什么，以及最感兴趣的内容和遇到的困难，并对本单元内容作出评价。
教学重点	引导学生熟练掌握和运用本单元的词汇和语法。
教学难点	引导学生结合单元内容进行自我评价和反思，深化对文化多样性的认识，提高自我评价和反思的能力。
教学内容与过程	Step 1 语言知识检测引导学生完成活动1，用所给单词的正确形式将句子补充完整。引导学生完成活动2，用省略的知识改写画线句子，接着和同伴扮演对话。 Step 2 反思与评价引导学生结合P34中的REFLECTING进行自我反思和评价，然后让学生结对交流，分享自己学习的经验和困惑。 Step 3 Homework Revise the vocabulary and grammar of this unit based on your self-evaluation.					备注

教学目标	By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. introduce several provinces or cites to foreign travellers; 2. create a travel brochure for foreign travellers; 3. experience the diverse cultures of our country during creating their travel brochures; 4. appreciate and evaluate others’ travel brochures.
教学主题	该活动要求学生为外国朋友设计行程，“制作一份旅行手册”（Create a travel brochure），以帮助他们体验中国文化的多样性。该活动与单元主题紧密联系，并体现了本单元所学内容在生活中的运用。同时，该活动鼓励学生向世界展示中国文化的多样性。
教学重点	引导学生向外国游客推荐几个游玩的地方；引导学生为外国游客制作一份旅行手册。
教学难点	引导学生在制作旅行手册的过程中体会我国的多样文化；引导学生对其他组成员的旅行手册作出评价，培养学生的鉴赏能力。
教学内容与过程	Step 1 Preparation 引导学生完成活动1，在组内讨论如下问题，明确制作旅行手册所涉及的一些问题。  How long will the travellers stay in China?  What kind of activities will they be interested in?  Which provinces or cities should be introduced? What cultures are these places famous for?  What attractions do these places have? 引导学生学习课本所提供的旅行手册，了解其内容和格式。  Do you know which ethnic group these people belong to?  Read the tourist information about places to explore diverse cultures in the USA. Where can you learn about this ethnic group?  What other ethnic groups are mentioned?  Where can you learn about these ethnic groups?  Apart from these ethnic groups in the USA, do you know other ones?  What would you gain from such a trip? Step 2 Making a travel brochure 引导学生完成活动2，与组员分工合作，制作旅行手册。 Step 3 Presentation 让学生派代表分组展示旅行手册。 Step 4 Evaluation 让学生集体评比，投票选出最优秀的旅行手册并张贴在教室内。 Step 5 Homework According to teacher’s and classmates’ tips, improve your travel brochures.					备注
