He had n hbbies but just tk care f his family.
But I was t busy, fr I had a law practice t run, and I culd nt take the time t hld the paintbrush, r talk t my father.
Fr 22 years, since I left hme fr cllege, my father called me every Sunday at 9:00 a.m..
I was the ne wh brke the windw. It was caused by a mischievus thrw f a baseball. If I admitted the guilt, I wuld be in a lt f truble. Hw culd I be able t pay fr a big windw like that?以及第五段第一句“I knw hw yu like birds,” she said as she std lking dwn at my guiltridden face.
If I admitted the guilt, I wuld be in a lt f truble. Hw culd I be able t pay fr a big windw like that? I didn't even get an allwance. “My father is ging t have a fit,” I thught. My teacher tk dwn a bk frm ne f ur library shelves and I had never knwn my teacher t strike a student, but I feared she was ging t start with me.
I culdn't believe it! I wasn't being tld ff and I gt my wn bird field guide—the very ne that I had been saving mney up t buy. All that remains f that day is my memry and the lessn my teacher taught me. That lessn stays with me every day, and it will ech frever.
Yu will nt be punished as lng as yu remember that I am nt rewarding yu fr yur misdeed, but I am rewarding yu fr yur truthfulness.
结合第一段“Befre this, Jack had just been a friendly yung fellw assigned by the htel t accmpany me int the wildlife park nearby.”
根据文中第三自然段“He did smething quite else. He pushed his leg twards mine and held ut the clth f his trusers t gently let the spider n t his wn leg.
根据最后一段中“Thanks t Jack, I learnt t live with the nt s beautiful bits f nature.”
