Comic strip and Welcome to the unit
一、教学目标
1. 掌握本课重点词汇:indigo, violet, rainbow, try on, look good on sb, in the sky
2. 掌握本课重点句型:
There’s nothing wrong with pink.
I’m not sure if it looks good on you.
Do you know how many colours there are in the rainbow?
3. 通过读、听,获取Eddie选择的衣服,以及Eddie和Hobo对颜色的看法的信息。
4. 介绍彩虹的颜色,并谈论与颜色相关的话题。

Task 1
Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to have a free talk activity.
Offer the following questions to ask Ss to talk about colours.
1. What colour do you know? Can you say them in English?
2 What’s your favourite colour?
3 What colour do you like to wear? Why?

Step 2 Presentation
- Guide Ss to look at the pictures of Hobo and Eddie and predict what happened.

- Guide Ss to read Comic strip and answer the following questions.
(1) Which colour does Eddie want to wear, pink or blue? Why?
(2) Why does Hobo laugh?
