Task 1
Step 1 Revision
Guide Ss to look and fill in the blanks.
【设计意图】引导学生通过完成句子进入本课学习,同时,了解学生已知,为下面的教学做好学情调研。
Step 2 Presentation
Present the examples and ask Ss to summarize the usages of the simple present tense and the present continuous tense. Then guide Ss to compare the two tenses.
【设计意图】通过观察例句,自然地呈现目标语法结构和用法,并引导学生通过观察,总结出语法的规律。
Step 3 Practice
Guide Ss to complete the passage in We enjoy the modern life.
【设计意图】通过在语境中完成段落,帮助学生归纳总结一般现在时和现在进行时的结构,强化语法项目。
Step 4 Production
Guide Ss to tell their weekend life in groups.
On weekend, I often... This is my weekend! It’s colorful and amazing...! What about yours?

1. Guide Ss to tell a short story to express their thanks to the person who helped them in the past in 3~5 sentences.

2. Show the sentences and guide Ss to summarize the usages of the simple past tense and the past continuous tense. Then guide Ss to compare the two tenses.

Step 2 Practice
Guide Ss to complete their conversation with the correct tenses of the verbs in brackets on P27.【设计意图】通过引导学生补全对话,帮助学生在语境中内化语言,在模拟的社会生活情境中使用语言,有助于提升学生解决现实问题的能力。

Step 1 Presentation

Step 2 Presentation
Present the sentences and ask Ss to focus on the usages of simple past tense and present perfect
tense. Then ask them to compare the two tenses. Then guide Ss to find out one mistake in the sentence and correct it, then guide them to learn the continuous verbs and the non-continuous verbs.
