Although it’s great to spend vacations seeing the world with family, friends,or a lover, traveling alone can also be completely incredible.A solo adventure has the potential to be life-changing.Here are some reasons you should travel alone at least once.

A trip alone can ignite your creativity.Spending time alone with an open mind can be exactly what you need for your imagination to soar.Your enthusiasm and passion for life may sky-rocket from your awesome adventure.
When traveling with a partner or a group, every idea can be bounced off someone else. When you travel alone, you will learn to be decisive;you will be making every decision alone. From where to eat,to what time to wake up,to what sights to see,and which airline to use, traveling solo forces you to rely on yours truly. As you realize you can make good choices without help from others, you will likely trust your instincts more, and this new found self-assurance and confidence will be helpful in many areas of your life.

When you’re sitting in class or behind your desk waiting for the clock to strike a time when you can go home,it is natural that the mind can wander (漫游) a bit.It is common for your mind to wander to a vacation and even travel the world. What if there is a way that you can travel the world without having to pay any money?
A person that managed to make it around the world without spending much was Shantanu Starick. How did he trade off his service?Starick realized that as a photographer he had a service that people would usually be willing to pay money for,but he would instead offer his photography services to anyone who could provide him with food, shelter and transportation.Starick has been traveling for surprising 30 months and has visited countries ranging from the United States to Ecuador.
In English-speaking countries, trading off services and communicating aren’t difficult for Starick. However,in more far areas where there isn’t an English-speaking person in sight it can be quite difficult.More than anything locals appreciate (欣赏) the effort behind trying to speak their language, even if you don’t exactly sound like a native speaker.
You can do it too!
Honestly, with a bit of confidence, learn a skill you can trade, you’ll be able to do exactly the same as Starick.
Start thinking about what you can do to get around the world without paying money. With our social networks and the connectivity our world has,you can easily connect with and market yourself to people across the world without any effort.

Last year at Christmas time, my wife, three children and I were on our way from Paris to Nice. Somehow everything went wrong. Our hotels were "tourist traps" and our rented car broke down. On Christmas Eve, when we checked into a dirty hotel in Nice, there was no Christmas spirit in our hearts.
It was raining and cold when we went out to eat. We found a small restaurant poorly decorated for the holiday. Only five tables in the restaurant were taken. There were two German couples, two French families, and an American sailor, by himself. They were eating in stony silence except the sailor. He was writing a letter, and a half-smile lighted his face. In the corner a piano player was listlessly (无精打采地) playing Christmas music.
All of us were interrupted by an old French flower woman through the front door. She had a worn overcoat and her old shoes were wet. Carrying her basket of flowers, she went from one table to another. No one bought any. Exhausted and frustrated, she sat down at a table.
The sailor finished his meal and got up to leave. Putting on his coat, he walked over to the flower woman's table.
"Merry Christmas," he said, smiling and picking out a handful of flowers. "How much are they?"
"Two francs, sir."
The sailor put a twenty franc note in the woman's hand.
"I don't have change, sir," she said. "I'll get some from the waiter."
"No, ma'am," said the sailor, leaning over and kissing the ancient cheek. "This is my Christmas present for you."
