教学目标	知识目标：熟练掌握词汇 slow down 和stop；能灵活运用句子“Slow down and stop at a yellow light.” “Stop and wait at a red light.”“Go at a green light.”。 2.能力目标：能辨认一些常见的交通标志。 3.情感目标：教育学生要遵守交通规则，增强交通安全意识。
教学重点	在实际情境中灵活运用所学句子“Slow down and stop at a yellow light.”“Stop and wait at a red light.”“Go at a green light.”。
教学难点	能够用描述性语言介绍交通指示灯的作用。
教学准备	课件、录音和相关视频。

Step 1 Warm-up & Revision		歌曲热身，借用歌曲激发学生兴趣，为后面的学习做好铺垫。
 Warm-up 课件播放歌曲“Road safety song”，教师带领学生一起唱。  Revision 课件呈现关于出行方式的图片，学生根据图片内容进行问答。 S1: How do you come to school? S2: I come to school...
Step 2 Presentation&Practice		通过回答问题，检测学生是否能听懂和Let’s learn板块的对话。通过游戏让学生合理运用所学句型，激发学生的英语学习动力。
 Lead in 课件呈现一个问题，学生选出正确答案。 T: When you are at a crossing, what can you see? Ss: B. (红绿灯） T: They are traffic lights. 教授引导学生理解词汇“traffic lights”，并导入新课。 T: What colour are they? Ss：Red, yellow and green. T: Yes! Do you know what the lights mean? You can speak in Chinese. Ss: 红灯停，绿灯行……  Presentation 课件呈现P17Let’s learn板块的图片，教师介绍对话背景。 T: Mrs Smith and the children are at the crossing now. T: Where are they going? Ss: Nature Park. Watch and answer. 学生观看视频，并回答问题。 T: Can they go now? Why or why not? Ss: No, they can’t. Because the light is red now. Listen and repeat. 课件呈现P17Let’s learn板块的对话，教师播放音频，学生跟读。 Words and expressions. 教师引导学生理解关于交通规则的句子。 T: What must we do when it is a red light? T: And what must we do when it is a yellow/green light? 教师带读关于交通规则的句子，学生跟读。 Stop and wait at a red light. Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Go at a green light.  Practice Read and match. 将句子“Go.”“Slow down.”“Stop and wait.”和指示灯进行配对。 Look and say. 课件呈现红/黄/绿色指示灯，学生根据指示灯的颜色，快速地说出对应的句子：“Go.”“Slow down.”“Stop and wait.” Fast reaction 教师操作转盘，学生根据指示灯的颜色，说出对应的交通规则。 Stop and wait at a red light. Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Go at a green light. Role play. 两名学生为一组，上台表演Let’s learn板块的对话。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension		通过创设真实的情境，让学生分别扮演警察和行人，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。
Role play. 教师选四名学生上台游戏。一名学生为警察，一名学生戴上眼罩当盲人；警察出示指示灯，另外两名学生说出对应的英文提示，盲人学生根据提示做出相应的动作。 Policeman: Green light. The other two students: Go at a green light. Policeman: Red light. The other two students: Stop and wait at a red light. Policeman: Yellow light. The other two students: Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Read and fill in the blanks. 根据图片和文字提示，学生补全句子。教师讲解祈使句的语法。
Step 4 Summary&Homework
小结：师生共同回顾本课时所学的交通规则。作业：1. 背诵Let's learn部分的交通规则。 2. 完成本课时对应的练习。
