一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 帮助学生学习字母e在开音节中的发音。
2. 帮助学生欣赏故事《乌鸦喝水》。通过看图提问、判断,看句排序和看关键词介绍图片四个活动,引导学生通过阅读抓住关键信息,了解故事大意。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
- 语音:e (he, she)
- 词汇:bird, see, drink
- 句型:The bird is very thirsty.

课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 出示一个玩具乌鸦。引导学生描述一下它外形、颜色、会做的事情等。
Ss: This is a crow. It’s black. Its mouth is short. Its wings are big. It can fly.
2. 出示一个细长的玻璃瓶,引导学生观察它的特征,在观察的过程中告诉学生The bottle is tall and thin.并将句子写在黑板上。然后往瓶内倒入一些水,大概占瓶子的二分之一,假装让玩具乌鸦喝水,让学生说一说如何才能帮乌鸦喝到水。
T: The crow is thirsty. He wants to drink the water. Can lie drink it? The bottle is tall and thin. He can’t drink the water. Can you help him?
While-task procedures
1. 把挂图贴在黑板上,针对Enjoy a story的图片提问,启发学生思考,初步了解故事大意。
What season is it? (It’s summer.)
How does the bird feel? (He’s thirsty.)
Can he drink the water in the bottle? (Yes, he can.)
2. 播放Enjoy a story的故事录音,然后要求学生读故事。设计一些与故事内容有关的判断题,检测学生是否理解了故事大意。

3. 四人小组活动。发给每组五张写有故事内容的小纸条,要求学生拿到纸条后朗读上面的句子,并在小组内将句子排序,排好后,全班一起核对答案。
(3) The bottle is tall and thin. The bird cannot drink the water. What can he do? |
(1) It is hot today. The bird is thirsty. |
(5) One, two, three ... The bird puts some little stones in the bottle. He can drink the water now! |
(2) Oh! Here is a bottle. The bird can see some water in it. |

4. 出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片e (he, she),让学生跟读字母和单词,感受字母e的发音。
T: e, /i:/,he;e, /i:/, she.
Ss: e, /i:/,he;e, /i:/, she.
接着播放Learn the sounds的儿歌录音,要求学生跟着录音朗读,教师可以让学生先跟读个别单词或词组。
T: e, /i:/, Pete; e, /i:/, Chinese, study Chinese.
Ss: e, /i:/, Pete; e, /i:/, Chinese, study Chinese.
Post-task activities
1. 出示Enjoy a story的挂图,要求学生两人一组根据图片讲故事,教师巡视,如发现学生看图讲故事有困难,可以将一些关键的句型
和单词写在挂图下面,降低难度。

(Picture 3) tall and thin, little stones, have an idea, cannot drink
( Picture 4) I have an idea!
接着,请部分学生上台表演。
2. 请学生各自完成《练习册》Task第一部分的表格,然后根据第二部分的提示与同学交流后记录同学的情况。
